Opera in the Ozarks offers productions of some of the world’s best operas, which are performed during the four-week summer opera festival. The 2009 season starts on June 19th and continues through July 17th. Opera in the Ozarks is recognized as one of the top ten summer opera festivals in the world.
Opera in the Ozarks is located seven miles west of Eureka Springs. Located at Inspiration Point, this location is known as one of the most picturesque spots in the south as it is situated at the top of Candy Rock Mountain just between White River Valley and Beaver Lake. Some of the performances this year will include Hansel & Gretel, Manon, Pagliacci, and more! All seats for performances are by reservation only, so be sure to arrange this in advance of your visit.
